Privacy policy

How we handle your personal data when you book a demo through this site.

Last updated: 9 May 2026

This privacy policy applies to the Ezra marketing site at ezratax.com. We’re still in pre-launch — no shipped product yet, no client data flowing. The only personal data we collect right now is what you give us when you book a demo. A separate, broader privacy policy will replace this one when the product is live and firms have onboarded; we will email you to flag that change.

Who we are

Ezra is being built as an AI-powered client intake engine for UK accountancy firms. For questions about your data, write to hello@ezratax.com.

What we collect

When you submit the demo-request form, we collect:

We don’t collect any client data, bank records, tax information, or anything about the people you serve. We’re not your tax agent and we don’t want or need that data during the demo-request phase.

How we use it

We use the data above only to:

We don’t profile you, run automated decision-making, or share your details with anyone for marketing purposes.

Where it’s stored

Demo-request contacts are stored in Loops, the email-marketing platform we use as a data processor. Loops processes data in the United States; the transfer is covered by the UK addendum to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The marketing site itself runs on Vercel (United States and EU).

Vercel Analytics is enabled on this site. It’s a cookieless, privacy-first product — we don’t see your IP address, we don’t fingerprint you, and we don’t set any tracking cookies. You don’t need to consent to analytics here because there’s nothing for you to consent to.

How long we keep it

We keep your contact details until you ask us to delete them, or until 24 months after launch (whichever is sooner). If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal suppression record so we don’t accidentally email you again.

Your rights under UK GDPR

You have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@ezratax.com. We respond within 30 days. If you’re unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies

The marketing site sets no cookies of its own and no third-party tracking cookies. If we add anything that requires consent in the future, we’ll show you a banner before it happens.

Changes to this policy

We’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be flagged by email to everyone who has booked a demo.
